Global web estate collaboration

Ingersoll Rand runs a global multi-brand content platform on a custom Next.js frontend. WAYF is their engineering partner on it, and since 2024 I own our side of the collaboration: staffing, procurement and engineering direction across several parallel projects.

The largest piece so far was the migration to Payload CMS. Oracle Content Manager was reaching end of life, the replacement had to also run inside AWS China, and the global codebase could not fork. Together with the team at WAYF, I set the direction to create the abstraction layers that make the existing frontend stack independent of any CMS. We delivered the migration on time, with zero downtime at cutover.

That migration has been in production since January 2026.
